The wait is over, Sarafina Freedom Will be here tomorrow! We've kept you waiting, but with good reason. For the first time in over 20 years, the soundtrack to our lives is finally available for download. We have been daydreaming about this moment for what feels like forever and now that it's here we want to share it with the world. In 1998 Sarafina was released as a movie based on a true story set against the backdrop of South Africa during apartheid. It encapsulated so much of what was going on in our country at that time – from oppression to resistance – and created an anthem for all those who were fighting for freedom and dignity even when things seemed impossible. This movie was our lifeblood. We are so proud of the music that came out of this movie, it became an inspiration for millions around the globe. It's become a soundtrack for millions of people who have found their voice in the face of adversity. We watched it with our children, who have grown up with it, and have seen how it has changed both them and us over the course of the last 20 years. This music is important to us because it shaped our lives when we were young and brave enough to make something out of nothing. We are excited about sharing this with you too because there are still battles being fought everywhere in this world for freedom and dignity. It has resonated with people of all races, cultures and beliefs. A new generation have said that it has become the soundtrack to their lives too. We are so proud to be sharing this today with you.
